Robynn De Hoyos just moved to the Roanoke area from Texas. She has been married for fifteen years. They have four daughters and three fur-babies(two cats and a dog). Even though her passion is teaching little ones, she is also a children’s book author. For fun she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and being in God’s beautiful creation. Her favorite Bible verses are Philippians 4:13 and Luke 1:37.
Mrs. De Hoyos graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Southern New Hampshire University. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. Last year she taught kindergarten at a public school in Texas, and she is excited to teach first grade at KCA this upcoming school year.
Ms. Rose grew up in the Roanoke area and is a graduate of Salem High School. Last fall, she interned at KCA and loved the community and family atmosphere here. Ms. Rose has also been a substitute for KCA and has worked with students in almost every grade level. She has an Associates Degree in Social Sciences with a specialization in education, and will be graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Liberty University this year.
In her free time, she love to do crafts, spend time with friends and family, play with her dog, and go to Target! Her favorite verse is Psalm 139:14.
