K2 & K2-3

Welcome to

Mrs. Amy
K2

Mrs. Amy Patterson came to KCA in 2020 and has been working in early childhood education for the past 14 years. She was born in Charleston, South Carolina. She grew up in a military family so she has lived all over the place. She is one of 7 (5 sisters and 1 brother), and has been married to her husband Stephen for 15 years this coming August. Their two children, Marc and Sophia, both attend KCA. Marc is in 8th grade and Sophia is in 2nd grade.

In her free time she loves to craft, go hiking, and ride bikes with the kids. They really enjoy swimming as a family. Cooking is one of her passions and she is always looking for new ways to make learning fun, easy, and an adventure for the kids in her class. Her favorite scripture is Psalm 9:9-10.

Mrs. Jenna
K2-3

Mrs. Jenna Kaufman grew up in Buchanan, Virginia and has been a stay at home mom for the past 6 1/2 years. She graduated from Liberty University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in
Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development.

Prior to leaving the workforce to raise her boys, Jenna worked with children in Pre-k, Elementary, Middle and High schools for 9 years in various settings. Jenna has been married to her husband, Drew, for 11 years, and they have two boys, Elijah and Liam, who both attend KCA. She is most excited about getting to share Jesus with children every day.

As she spends her days in preschool, she plans to lean on the Lord for strength, wisdom, and discernment. Her favorite verse is Psalm 18:2: “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”
