Mrs. Amberly is originally from Roanoke, VA but moved to North Carolina and lived there for 14 years. She graduated High School from First Assembly Christian School and attended college at RCCC and UNC. She majored in Early Childhood Education. She taught Montessori School for 3 years and has been teaching preschool for 23 years. She and her husband have been married for 13 years and have 3 children and two cats. Her daughter attend KCA. She enjoys hiking, scrapbooking, reading, and going for long drives. Mrs. Amberly looks forward to going on vacation with her family each summer. Her favorite verse is Isaiah 40:31.
Mrs. Michelle Hughes is originally from Danville, VA but moved to Roanoke six years ago. She graduated from Danville Community College with an Associates in Accounting and is currently attending Liberty University for a Early Childhood Education Degree. She previously worked as a paraprofessional for three years at Benjamin Franklin Middle School. She came to KCA last spring as a long-term sub in K4 and has worked with many age groups here. She and her husband have been married for 29 years and have two sons and two dogs. Her youngest son attends KCA and is in the 8th grade. She enjoys hiking, painting, drawing portraits in pencil, crafts and going on trips. She looks forward to going to the beach with her family, but loves the mountains. Her favorite verses come from Psalms 91:1-4.
