Ms. Jessica grew up in North Carolina and has been living in Roanoke since last August. Her children, Dakota and Malakai, attend KCA and are in the 7th grade. She enjoys hiking, spending time with family, church, singing, and home projects. Her favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength”. She also loves Psalm 23.
Tyler Setliff (Mr. Ty) was born in Martinsville, Virginia. He received a soccer scholarship to attend Oak Ridge Military Academy and later graduated from Franklin County High School. He attended Marshall University and received an Associates Degree from Virginia Western. Mr. Ty plans to go back to school in the fall to pursue a degree in education. He loves sports and played AAU basketball and baseball for eight years. At KCA, he serves as one of our soccer coaches and is the head coach for middle school basketball. He cheers for any NC State sports team and the Carolina Hurricanes. Mr. Ty loves to play golf and basketball, coach, hike, fish, hunt, cook and grill.
He’s been married to his wife for ten years this May! Their three children, Wyatt, Harper, and Lettie attend KCA. They have two dogs and a cat and their family enjoys vacationing in the Outer Banks. His favorite scriptures include Romans 5:1-5 and Philippians 4:10-14. He’s thankful for the time that God has given him to help kids learn about His love and make them smart and Godly young adults as they grow.
