Dear KCA Family,
After listening to the governor in recent days, I am sure you are wondering what our plan is for the 2020-21 school year. I can say this that we will absolutely have Traditional Teaching EVERY day with all students in the classroom. We will NOT do online learning. We will also start on time on Thursday, August 13th. I know so many parents are excited about that.
That being said, whether you are a current KCA parent, or are considering KCA for your family, I would like your input. In order for us to open up in the fall, we must submit our plan to the state with our preventive measures towards COVID. I would like your input before submitting our plan, so we will have a KCA “Town Hall” meeting on Tuesday, June 23rd at 6:00pm in the PHOP sanctuary. We will discuss the following:
- Wearing Masks
- 6 ft rule
- Health concerns
- Parents and others entering school building
- Other concerns you may have regarding COVID-19
If you are uncomfortable with coming to the meeting, or are out of town and would like to attend the meeting, we will have a Zoom meeting where you will be able to add chat questions that we can answer during the meeting. Just email firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, June 22nd and we will send you instructions on how to attend virtually.
